Kit contains enough wool to make the 17 1/2" x 25" penny rug. The backing fabric is not included. (I like to use a soft flannel on the back of my penny rugs.) The wool may vary slightly from the sample shown, but you will be very pleased at the selection. You also receive the pattern for the pillow on the cover.
